The Faculty of Information Technology was established in 2006 through the decision of the UNAI Foundation number: 036/Ya-UNAI/II/2006 dated February 26, 2006, with the first Dean Dr. Albinur Limbong.

Henry Pandia, S.T., M.T was appointed Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and concurrently Head of the Information Systems Department. The Faculty of Information Technology oversees two study programs, namely Informatics Engineering and Information Systems.

As a new Faculty, FTI must improve itself in providing academic and non-academic supporting facilities and infrastructure as well as providing competent teaching staff.

Lecturers are given the opportunity to develop themselves through training and further study to a higher level.

Currently, the Faculty of Information Technology is equipped with facilities and infrastructure such as laboratories and adequate equipment. Both study programs have received Good Accreditation (B) from BAN-PT.

Currently, the Faculty of Information Technology has 12 lecturers. The lecturers at the Faculty of Information Technology are competent lecturers with Masters and Doctoral degrees who graduated from within and outside the country.
